Scientists continue to zero in on the causes of Crohn's. There have been a number of recent discoveries that point to specific genes that predispose people to getting Crohn's Disease. Scientists at the University of Toronto have isolated yet another. I can't say that I unerstood much of the medical geek-speak in the actual article abstract but the press release here is pretty clear. We're not there yet but we are heading in the right direction and we're one step closer.
